For ten minutes,
your flash lives
on their phone.
Mount a tag at your chair. Walk-ins tap it with their iPhone. The gallery opens — protected from screenshots and screen recording — and locks itself when time's up. Then it's gone until they tap again.
How it works
Mount the tag
A pre-programmed NFC tag arrives at your shop. Stick it on the chair, the wall, or carry it to conventions.
They tap it
Clients tap with their iPhone. No install, no Apple ID. iOS opens your flash gallery as an App Clip in under a second.
Ten minutes. Then locked.
Timed and watermarked. Screenshots come out black. When the timer runs out, it locks until they tap the tag again.
Three layers between your flash and a camera roll.
iOS secure-overlay. The system itself draws a black frame over the gallery in any screenshot or screen recording — same mechanism your banking app uses.
The App Clip senses capture attempts in real time. When someone tries, the gallery goes blank. They see their attempt fail. You see it in your analytics.
Every served image carries a watermark — your handle, the session ID, the hour. If a photo of the screen surfaces somewhere, you can trace it back to the session that produced it.

What we don't promise.
- —
Perfect prevention. A determined adversary can hold up another camera. We make casual theft impossible and deliberate theft traceable. That's the honest line.
- —
Android viewing. Tapping the tag on an Android phone opens an ‘iPhone required’ lock screen. A native Android viewer with OS-level protection is on the roadmap, not here yet.
- —
Watermark invisibility. The watermark is low-opacity, not invisible. Look closely on a bright screen and you'll see it — that's the point. It's a deterrent and a forensic trail, not a magic trick.
- —
A booking platform. Booksy, Square, and Acuity own that lane. FlashTap is the portfolio tool you mount at your chair — not your scheduler.
Common questions
Do clients need to install anything?
No. The App Clip launches the moment they tap. No Apple ID prompt, no confirmation. iOS handles it natively in under a second.
What about Android?
Android can’t run an App Clip. Tapping the tag on Android opens an ‘iPhone required’ lock screen — your flash never renders.
What does the tag look like?
A small disc, roughly 30mm. Stick it on a wall, the chair, the underside of your tattoo gun stand. We ship one with every active subscription.
How long is setup?
Five minutes. Sign up, add a card, upload your flash. We mail the tag to your shop within five business days.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. One click in the billing dashboard. No retention loops.
What if someone photographs the screen with another phone?
They can. Every image carries a session-bound watermark — your handle, a session ID, an hour stamp. If a photo ever surfaces, you can trace which session produced it.
